Louise Sloan

Louise brings over 25 years of clinical experience to the practice. After qualifying in 1996, Louise worked for 5 years as an optometrist in Australia, gaining valuable insights into international practices there. Since then, she has worked in both independent opticians and eye hospital departments, gaining specialist experience within the fields of glaucoma, age-related macula degeneration, and children’s vision. Louise now lives with her family in Sussex, and when she is not in the practice she likes catching up with her friends, going to the gym and reading.

Vicki is a very experienced optometrist who enjoys working with children and adults alike. She has a particular interest in nutrition and the eye and is currently studying for a further qualification to learn even more. Vicki’s favourite brand is Bellinger for their classic Danish style. Vicki regularly keeps fit at the gym and loves soaking up art and culture both in London and abroad.

Fay is an experienced optometrist, qualifying back in 2001 having studied at City University. Popular with patients and staff alike, she enjoys all aspects of her role and has just completed a course on Medical Retina. ENTOURAGE from LA is one of Fay’s favourite brands for its modern, chunky, classic shapes. Fay looks forward to meeting you in the clinic soon!

Sam joined us in 2017 with a wealth of optical knowledge and has a special interest in paediatric dispensing. Finding the right frames to suit a client’s individual look is a highlight of the job for Sam, and her favourite brand is Woow for their zingy colours and simple styles. Outside work, Sam is a busy mum who enjoys spending quality time with her children.

Maria lives in Horsham but hails from Salamanca, so brings her Spanish style and energy to the team. She loves helping you to choose your perfect frames. One of Maria’s favourite brands comes from the British family-owned company WOLF. This cosmopolitan selection pops with bright colours and shapes – and hosts a fantastic teenage and children range too – they really do cater for everyone.

Sally entered the world of optics over 20 years ago and joined us in 2016. With a passion for frames and styling, Sally’s favourite brands are Dutz for their quirky designs and colours, and Entourage for that more chunky retro styling. Sally loves exploring European cities and discovering new and unusual restaurants to try out. Oh, and Sally’s artistic skills are behind all our wonderful window displays!

Tom is our newest member of the team and is the friendly voice that greets you over the phone! Tom is always on hand to help you choose great frames and his favourite brand is Charles Stone – for that vintage look. At home, Tom is busy learning to play the guitar and enjoys listening to music or visiting the cinema.
